3 Dreams of Flying

My inspiration was two people passing around a volleyball. I composed the picture by getting a couple of people to pose as if they were in a very serious game of pepper (passing). I don't exactly know how i edited the image because i don't exactly understand the question.

 The inspiration i had for this photo was just someone skateboarding. I composed this image by "borrowing" my friends skateboard and placing it by the stairs to make it look as if the person was actually skateboarding on the road.

Finally my inspiration for this image was someone shooting a basketball. To complete the image so it looked the way i wanted it to, i got someone to play there arms in a way that they looked like the were a basket, and then i had someone else shooting the ball.

Dreams Of Flying

In my opinion this photo is very cool and creative, i think its really cool that they actually gave off the allusion of the boy floating away. I especially like that its so colourful and vibrant, it just makes the picture stand out a lot more.

Anyone that would look at this picture would know that its representing the classic movie 'Ghost Busters', and in my opinion Jan Von Holleben did and amazing job at setting it up to look this way. I think its cool that they were able to use just regular everyday things to make it look like they're catching a ghost.

This photo is another movie based picture. I really like the way that they have the picture set up to look like a actual battle scene from Star Wars. Its also cool that the kids got to dress-up as people from a very well known movie. I mean who wouldn't want to dress up like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

Jan Von Holleben

Jan Von Holleben was born in 1977 in Southern Germany. He started to get a interest in photography at age 13, when he picked up his dads camera and experimented with all sorts of "magical tricks." He later studied to teach kids with disabilities at the Pädagogische Hochschule in Freiburg. After moving to London he earned a degree in the theory and history of photography at Surrey Institute of Art and Design. He became a part of the photographic scene where he worked as a picture editor, art director, and photographic director. He then set up the Young Photographers United and Photo-debut, later followed by the photographers office.
